| Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cottage and island. Spectacular views from the downs and coast. Worked our way through the ice cream, scones, clotted cream, cakes etc at Calbourne Classics. Not to be missed the experience at On the Rocks at Yarmouth and the New Inn at Shalfleet. | We had a most enjoyable time in the well equipped cottage, everything thought of down to a tea strainer. We have walked the coastal path from Alum Bay to St Lawrence, plus some inland walks. We have relived out time here 25 years ago, enjoyed the friendliness of locals and visitors and survived Tennyson down in the semi mist - scary. New Inn at Shalfleet very good as is the Countryman. Dimbola Lodge in Freshwater Bay is up lifting. Norfolk |
